Sat-dome Antennas for Vehicles
CAMOS fully automatic satellite systems quickly and reliably
locate and track TV & radio satellite signals, even
when the vehicle is on the move. They can be used
with all Europe‘s main satellite transmitters inclu-ding
Astra, Eutelsat/Hotbird and Sirius.
Easy installation allows retrofitting to all kinds of vehicles
such as motor homes, V.I.P. coaches, lorries, vans
and even cars. Sat-domes can also be fitted to boats.
The antenna’s control box, which is included, can be
easily and discreetly mounted inside the vehicle. The
sophisticated electronics inside the dome are protected
against bad weather and the low height makes it suitable
for most applications.
There are four models available, varying in size and
functionality.
CSA-1400P [Art. 1765]
Fully automatic antenna for stationary use
From switching on this stationary antenna, the selected
satellite is usually located in less than 1 minute. The dome
is 40 cm high.
CSA-1300P [Art. 1760]
Fully automatic antenna for stationary use
Just like CSA-140P, but this model comes with a 30 cm
high dish. This gives more reception reserve for unfavourable
locations and foul weather.
CSA-1400P [Art. 1765]
Fully automatic antenna for stationary use
From switching on this stationary antenna, the selected
satellite is usually located in less than 1 minute. The dome
is 40 cm high.
CSA-230M [Art. 1750]
Fully automatic antenna for use during driving
Similar to CSA-240M but with a 30 cm high dish for use
when the height of the unit is a major consideration. The
smaller dish means that reception near the edge of a satellite’s
footprint will not be quite as good as that of a
40cm model.
CSA-240M [Art. 1751]
Fully automatic antenna for use during driving
This version of satellite antenna not only searches for and
locates the selected satellite, it also automatically tracks
the satellite while the vehicle is in motion. Even when turning
corners or negotiating roundabouts, the 40 cm high
unit gives an uninterrupted satellite signal, depending on
the surrounding landscape (trees, houses, bridges, etc.).
A unique feature of the CAMOS CSA-2400M is the infinite
azimuth range from 0° to 360°, which enables the antenna
to rotate around its own axis without hindrance, eliminating
the possibility of a satellite signal dead-spot.
