Heated Cargo - Chocolate Tanker

Many years ago we were asked if we could use an Eberspacher heater to heat the steam pipe coils on a small tanker so they could keep the outlet pipes hot for ease of discharge of the chocolate.

We fitted this as a prototype. Since then we have designed and fitted Eberspacher water heaters to all size of tanks and,  in conjunction with some major Tank Manufacturers have perfected the system.

We have sold in excess of 200 systems and have been involved with Clayton Tankers in the design and build of water tanks being built and sent to the troops in Kosova. Our system prevented the drinking and Showering water from freezing.

 The system can be used for most liquids that need to keep temperature in the load for a time, the system will not warm the liquid but assist in the slow cooling, another advantage is the water jacket around discharge pipes.

The system is not suitable for critical liquids above temperatures of 60 Degrees.

Temperature sensitive freight On a 40ft box van carrying Anything that needs heat temperature control.

The D8LC heater is bulkhead mounted and the fuel is taken from a tank mounted on the trailer chassis.

This application ducting is run down the roof of the trailer.

A thermostat mounted in a suitable place in the trailer controls the temperature.
