ANTARES SPLIT CHARGE SYSTEM
ASC
Split charge systems are commonly specified on vehicles
to ensure that the engine start battery is protected by drain
from auxiliary loads.
The Antares system uses an electronically controlled high power switch which responds directly
to the onboard voltage, it recognises the presence of the alternator and
external power supply when fitted, it is also compatible to the new
breed of electronic regulators and the new
generation of 200A
alternators.
Key Benefits
Simple to fit, does not require any connection to the alternator, no
energy loss in the switch12 or 24v versions
140 or 200 Amp Versions available
Duel sensing option recognises charging on primary or auxiliary
system, remote sensing option to allow fitting away from primary
battery, heavy duty studs and enclosure construction
E Marked
Can be used in pairs to create a 3 battery system
Specification sheet
DC Power charging system
DC power charging provides an optimal charging regime for auxiliary
systems on vehicles at lower voltages than the chassis electrical system.
Full boost float temperature compensated charging is offered including
remote sensing of the batteries voltage and temperature. The system now
incorporates a built-in priority split charge facility. The range includes
36VDC input in readiness for the new 42V vehicle power systems.
Key Benefits
Compact high power
Multi-stage charging
Temperature compensation
36VDC/42VDC versions
Remote battery sensing
Remote display
Recovers fully discharged batteries
High reliability
High degree of system protection
Rugged aesthetic enclosure
Automatic alternator run sensing

VICTRON SYSTEM HEAVY DUTY RELAY
Cyrix 80 / 160 / 400 A
The Cyrix battery combiner is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay
that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a
preset voltage (indicating that the battery is being charged), and disconnects when the voltage
decreases below float level indicating one or more
batteries are discharged.
Cyrix battery separators are an excellent replacement for diode isolators.
The main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss so that the output voltage of
alternators or battery chargers does
not need to be increased.
These units are dual sensed so when a battery charger is fitted to the aux
battery
the unit will connect and charge the prime battery and vice versa.
